A Letter from the Director...

"Past Life Promotions started as a channel for my personal grief and as a tribute to some of the great artists I've loved and lost. After years of curating the Dragonfly Stage, I felt the need to give something back to this amazing community of local talent. I see this organisation as a bridge to connect the grassroots  arts and music community, beyond what I, alone, could ever offer (or wish to gain), and as an important, creative torch to pass to future generations. Initially, PLP was a way to honour the late Lynne Cantrill (my friend and fellow bandmate),  and my beloved, late parents, David and Heather Abriel. (All three were amazing musicians and artists.) PLP has taken years to manifest, develop and articulate and has now grown into something much bigger. My hope is that PLP will act as a platform to: celebrate and promote local artistic and musical talent support original, local artists / musicians with their businesses give grassroots artists a much-needed voice in our community and provide specialised opportunities for artists and musicians to sell and showcase their work. ​ The PLP mission is based on concepts of togetherness, community development, the ever-inspiring, spiritual-art connection, and in the well-being of artists, their families. and the wider community. ​ Please join me on my mission by supporting the work of PLP.
